As you might have known if you frequent qb45.com ThomasNevilleServo has been posting math questions everyday as a sorta game or something. I dunno. Check out qb45.com's board to see what I mean. Todays question is:
If x is an integer, how many factors does x^18 have? I know there are an infinite number of answers, but only one of these choices is a possibility.
A. 218
B. 219
C. 162
D. 163
E. 43
F. Abraham Lincoln
If you know the answer and wanna see if your correct or wanna be the first to post the answer check out Future Software here.

IMERION progress by Merlin
Here are detailed information on what has been done on IMERION during the last few days:
- Yesterday we added "hot chair" (multiplayer at one PC) support to the already existing network support. Internet will hopefully follow soon...
- I started to make photos of the heroes, yesterday I took the pictures of the dwarf hero.
-Today I added music support for modules (.IT). The intro music is already composed (thanx Fishstix :-)).
IŽll release original size pictures of 5 units (one of each folk) soon on the Imerion page.
And last but not least something totally different:
Bud the fish released PONG II v1.2.

The QB programming group known as Scythe Interactive has closed down. They didn't have much involvement in the actual scene but they did have some products and projects going. So we are sorry to see them go.
They left this on there website:
Due to the tragic passing away of one of our members, SI is no more. A link in our chain of friends is missing and we do not wish to continue as a group anymore.
Although being together since 1996, we have been virtual unknowns in the QB Community. As we depart, we would like to leave what has been done of our now final project, SC2. We thank everyone who has ever helped us and we wish you all the best of luck in whatever the future may hold.

In what is sort of unrelated news, V Planet! will now update sometime today. The reason V Planet was not able to update earlier is because members of the V Planet crew are interested in the outcome of the US election, and have been using both the Internet and TV/Cable networks to view results and actively participate in the MSNBC chatrooms.

Master Creating, home of Merlin, Gabsoft, and Bulma Produktions, just updated with it's promised "new" look! I won't spoil anything, but the new design is refreshing and allows for easier navigation regardless of what browser you're using. Check it out!

I am working on a new page design for Qbasic News because I want it to look more professional, clean, room for more content and look less cluttered. Those all seem weird when being put togethor but the page design is looking good in my eyes. It will be done in a few days. Thank you for your patience.

There is now free advertising in QB Cult Magazine. But these are help/want ads, and for people looking for a project to join, or others hunting for people to join their projects. There might be a section to promote products in the future but now right now.
If you want to put in an ad, e-mail your name, e-mail address, and message (which may include HTML) to qbcm@tekscode.com, using 'QB Ads' as the subject.
For issue #6, He is only accepting ads until Tuesday. So if you want to get an ad, act quick.
