The current ISP isn't too fast, and I just heard that the servers are moved in a month or so, so that problem should be fixed soon!

Curse of Methias
V Games signed up to help finish development of the Adventure Game "Curse of Methias". Jeremy Hammond, the original developer of Curse of Methias, put the game "on hold" to start development on two other QB projects, an untitled RPG and a Laser Tag game. As big fans of Faxanadu (the NES game to which Curse of Methias is inspired), V Games hopes to have the game polished and released to the public "as soon as possible".

Curse of Methias is featured at the 2000 QB Expo. You can go to the Expo by clicking here.

QBTimes Delayed
The QBTimes magazine issue for this month has been delayed again. Here is what Nightwolf the auther wrote on the qb45.com forum about it.

OK.. I know we've delayed the QB Times almost a dozen times now but the fact is I just don't have the time to work on it.

I am VERY VERY busy with school. A lot of homework and shit... And it isn't going to well... Because of this I really do not feel like working on the QB Times.

I hope I can get some stuff done in the next couple of weeks but I won't promise anything. It's just that damn school...

I hope you understand my situation. I just don't have the time to work on it.

NapsterQB Canceled
William Scott has cancelled his NapsterQB project due to the 'limitations' of qb.

"OK, QB don't have the flexibility to establish direct IP connections between two computers even with Dmitry Brant's TCP/IP prog... If I choose to re-approch this feat, it will be in VB when I graduate from CLC. (10 months to go...)"

So even if he does do it, it will be in VB =(

Petes Site Still Under Construction
Petes Qbasic Site is still under construction as they are making a new design. They are doing it kinda weird though, like what I do when redesigning something is leave the current page up and soon as im done the design I post the whole thing so everything works. They are doing it so you can see the progress with it by posting things as they get them done. That makes more errors and such. Anyway check out their progress here.

New Topsites
There is a new QuickBASIC rpg top 50 out. Its only got three members as of right now. Also its setup really weird looking. Anyway click here to goto it even though it is copying my idea! I used to own a qbasic rpg top 50 until it got closed down.

Also my Qbasic Top 100 is going very well! Its getting full and is now more popular then the qbtop50.com one now. Well not by how many sites are in it but how many clicks in a day which is what really counts. Just look at the rankings. Its easy to see.

    Qbasic 2K
Richy2000 has started Production of Qb2k! I have decided that QB is too slow, hasn't got enough useful commands, and is basically crap. Qb2K will allow use of more memory, more libraries, and have its own set of buildt in commands! This will be avalible very soon as the first beta. It will allow use of asm modules, may C modules too!
