I was thinking of making a 2d top down shooter like unreal tournament. It will have up to 16 bots(like unreal) multi weapons and I might think of using double weapons.Now to get this done I will need some art. So if your an(good or expert) artist or coder and want to help, e-mail or post a reply to me. I would like to get started on this thing as soon as possible. 8)

Build the engine first. Once people see a working engine, they will be more willing to invest time in a project. If you can manage it, I recommend 360 degree movement, or perhaps 8 directional keyboard movment and mouse aiming. It would be much truer to the UT experience. I can't picture a game being all that fast paced with Zelda controls.

How do you know if I don't have one or not? I know what you are saying, I should of said that i do have an working engine cause i do. And i don't want mouse aim. I will have it like the online game Continuum(if you ever played that). Hmm.. maybe i should make it online? Maybe it should be iso? ...... 8)

I though 2d Unreal was Unofficial Tournament. For some reason, it semed to be inspired by it with the initials UT and the T meaning Tournament.

Unofficial Tournament is a game that's made by Joe King (Delta Code). Very funny game that's well made.

agreed.. J.King has made alot of games, and they're all cool but I have to be honest and say that I liked Larry 1 more then the sequel...very slow on my computer...
