Hey,

Firstly, I'd like to say if you are going to read this, read through all of it. For those of you who know me know I will waffle on, and for those of you who don't, bear with me.

Hey to everyone here. Yes, I am back. I want to apologize for my last departure, unfortunately it didn't go as planned. I am back for a reason, and I am not going to stay.

Not going to stay? That's right. The reason I am back is not because of QB. I left QB/DOS/Non 32bit programming when I left here the last time. No, my friends, I am here for you. I am here because the last time, for a whole 2 years I feel like I gave nothing. Alrite sure I made some utlilty, and I organised this and that, but I want to give more. Very few communities are like this, and being a QB lover in the past, I want to give the remainder of you the best time I can with it. Then I will leave.

What will I do? Well firstly I will post as much as I can. I will give help to programmers, stop bullshit that some people recieve from others (if that still happens...), and of course, my "master plan". Well, you see, this site is probably (in the words of Na_Th_An) "_the_ forum, but as a site (sorry wildcard) it pretty much doesn't come anywhere as close. So while I am here, I will make the best site I can. I will have a space for people to upload files (limited, and providing I can find space). I will set up tutorials, and a sort of a "live help" chat feature. I will set up a portal to this site, in other words.

I am not asking for help, if that is what you are thinking. I do not expect it, as I never knew the majority of you the best you deserve, barring very few people. I will do this by myself.

Secondly (probably not, I lost track), I need to make an apology to wildcard, for being a pretty shit admin. Sorry man, I really did nothing worth anything. I will do my best from now till I leave. I want to apologize to all those people who had to wait to hear from me for so long, You know where this is going.

Finally, if you have read this far, thanks. I just wanna give a shout out to all those people I ever spoke to: nathan, akooma, megaman, bluekeyboard (where are you man?), mofu, relsoft, wildcard.

And finally, finally finally, I need to ask just one thing. As cheap as I may sound, and as totally stupid as I may sound, I need webspace for this site I am planning. If someone has a good server they can offer me space on, or if wildcard, if you would be ever so kind as to give me some more space, I will try to make the best use of it possible.

Thanks for getting here,

I appreciate it.

It's good to be back.

Hail.

I may be able to host you on venosoft. I just can't host a lot. I have 8gb monthly bandwidth and 400mb space overall, 58mb of which I've already used. Just pm me with what you're planning.
Thanks alot!

When I get a complete template ready, I'll do that PM.

Bandwidh shouldn't be a problem, I don't believe in graphic heavy sites too much. I'll use frames and a php template system. Space is plenty. How much do you pay for hosting?

Thanks again,

Hail.
$40 a year for hosting Wink
Will you need a database? I have 9 more that I can use Tongue
Wow thats not a bad deal.

Yeah most likely. I honestly don't make too much MySQL stuff, cuz it's usually forums or whatnot but someone else has made that, but a site like this would need a db.

Thanks

Hail.
Welcome Back!!!
Good you're back ae!!
Aetherfox, you should consider paying for hosting - 200 MB, 5 GB, 50 emails, 50 subdomains, php, 1 mySQL db, Perl, for $30 USD a year. Not very steep. I use that for The Geekery. http://www.long4net.com/
Welcome back ae Big Grin

Yea, what the hell happend to bluekeyboard? Last I heard from him, he was making a *secret game*. It was a awesome idea. I am not allowed to tell anyone cause it was his secret 8) .

Oh well,

It sounds like the goals to your site is exactly the goals to QBNZ (see sig). FTP upload for all your QB progs is almost installed, I have *unlimited* space (Ninkazu hates my cousin, but since he runs a webserver...), and slowly I'm trying to piece together one of the biggest file download archives and best tutorial site on the 'net for QB.

Though I don't think I can offer you any space.
