Sometimes when browsing phpBB forums the images for "new post" or "no new posts" sometimes don't display? What's going on there?

It happens to me a lot. It's just something keeping the images from loading correctly (or at all),

Well... it's annoying, so I should tell phpBB but I can't be bothered...
