What program do I need to open a .ZOO archive?
Wow! It is such an old archive format! (circa 1989, man!)

Check here: http://www.umich.edu/~archive/msdos/compression/zoo/
Thanks! I need it to open an archive of Larn...

EDIT: Didn't work. Kept giving me an IO error and saying my disk was full (which it isn't). Oh, well.
Well, that's what happens if the proggie is for old MSDOS and those <2Gb HDDs...

Maybe WINACE or WINRAR can open it. Have you tried?
WinZip can't, WinRar can't, and, anyway, my HDD is >2mB! Or do you mean above?
What's WinAce?
I meant that MSDOS stuff only work in HDDs that measure less than 2 Gb.

Anyhow, if the archive is small enough, you can try and decompress it from and to a diskette.
Oh, of course, thanks.
I've found this. It may help:

There are some proggies that can read ZOO archives.
z00 is a broken zipfile. There will be .zip, .z01, .z02 etc. U need all the zips to complete the archive
It is ZOO, aetherfox, not z00 (O, not 0) Smile it is an ancient archiving format.

Aadvark, did you have luck with my latest link?
