QB is just a pit stop in my journey in life. i am going to be a musician(play in a heavy metal band), race in rally cross events(when i'm about 30), get married(hell no, of course not after im thirty, more like when im 22), and then become a class A chef for a five star restaurant(when im 42). now that you know my demands, i expect them in the big tree at the park, no later than 8 bells.
I think I'll stick to QB for the rest of my life... programming is just one of the things I like to do on my spare-time so I guess I'll stay with QB since it's easy to use and I havn't got the will or time too learn a new programming-language.

And after your meals flop and the restaurant fires you and you go into a downward spiral of drinking and drugs and end up doing TV infomercials and earn money by appearing in Hollywood Squares, and finally *gulp* going into Wrestling... what will you do?

Me? Probably website designing and building (the layout and backend). But I'll probably still code in QBasic, because it's a language that I have learnt and understand, and it's fun to be able to create games in 64 lines/1 hour.
Well yes, I myself will never just drop it, I just won't focus on it as much. I'll probably be a constant visitor, so someday instead of being the baby of the board, I'll be the Glenn of it (sorry, you're the only one I could think of...)

you didn't have to bee so harsh...

but in Qbasic terms, i think i will stick with it for a while, then probly move into visual c++, seeming as i only know a little bit about it.

Marry at 22?? C'mon man!! How old are you Big Grin

I'm 24 and I still find marrying veeeeeeery far Wink.
Heh. Interesting thoughts coming from a self defined Heavy Metal musician. You clearly don't fit in the standard. [Image: biglaugh.gif]
I'm against the whole concept of marriage. Gimme a *beep boop* buddy any day Wink
I'll never stop programming qb...

Learn C.

Code an OS in C.

Get a degree in Engineering or Medicine, perhaps biotech :bounce: .

Somewhere along the way, get married, etc, etc.

But I'll still do QB 4Ever. Wacth, 30 years from now if this forum is still here, pr0gger'll be around, talking of ancient days when computers had screens instead of holograms.

I'll sound like (the) Glenn. :o
