Uh oh, I had Windows 2000 installed on my computer, and now only a limited amount of DOS programs work... if I want to be able to continue to work on my site, I'm gonna have to find a solution, so could someone help please? Thanks...

One more thing... how would I enable sound for certain programs? Or is this just asking for too much?
uninstall 2000 and install 95 or 98.... Tongue that's really the best thing i can think of, prolly not much help but owell.
You'll be able to hear sound if you install something called "VDMSOUND". It will interface with your soundcard, so you'll benefit from Windows 2000 in this case.

Also, find a fille called _default.pif and edit it (ALT+ENTER or Right Click->properties). Enable EMS.

If a game doesn't work just clicking it, press WINDOWS+R, type in "COMMAND" and try from the command prompt (by default, W2000 uses CMD, not COMMAND).
Ok, I got Raven to work perfectly... but some games... like SonicX, give me an "out of EMS memory" error. Now, this one sounds like an "oh well" problem, but is there any way to fix this. I've already gone into the memory settings and turned them to the fullest...
I have the same problem with xms on the game Percussor on XP. Nothing I do works.
I just got an XP computer but my game that I made in 98 won't play sound in it. Hmmmm. DAMN YOU BILL GATES?! WHAT ABOUT US LITTLE PEOPLE?!
