Well, since I formatted my HD and lost everything on it. (except QBColony, thank goodness I put cobra on there to be archived...)... So I think I'm gonna go ahead and make a Sprite editor... I think it'll be good, but here's some downfalls that I already know are going to arise...

-No Mouse Support...

-No QB PUT and BLOAD support, the whole thing will be saved number by number, with the width and height at the top... (this creates load times that are short, yet just long enough to make your programs seem professional... Smile

-I'm gonna need ideas on multiple pallettes, the pallette files are gonna be saved a certain way, but that's not the problem, it's the interface, because any pallette could ruin it...

And hopefully that's it. I'll try to include animation testing support and stuff since I'm making this after I became part of the community... I'd be glad to hear some ideas... thanks...
If you really need it, do it. But I found some time ago that sprites editors are unneeded, as long as you have a good painting program, such as [advertising] the almighty Deluxe Paint II that you can get here: http://usuarios.lycos.es/qbsux/utils.html [/advertising].

But if you really want to make one, be sure it supports animation. It is the only feature I miss when I am using a painting program.
Ummm... megaman, wern't you supposed to be designing a website idea that I suggested? How are you coming along with that?
Not very good so far oracle... actually... I haven't started because when you suggested it, I realized that research comes with it... so I don't think I'm ready yet. Not to say I've given up or anything though...
