There are some way to custimzing (locally ) forums? I mean to change colors, etc. The gray scheme of colors is great with some other colors (red) it look very bad.

I don't want to bother someone else if i could change the colors, to make more readable to me same post. :neo:
If you really want to use subsilver, for some reason:

go to profile->board style->subsilver and it will change the boards colours. Otherwise you cant modify them.
Thanks, but you're right it isn't very good. But can be a good idea to put some other schemes of colors. Or even organize a contest.
Ummm... it takes a long time to make a new style, but premade styles are available at phpbb.com. I have a couple for my forum. It's just a case of getting wildcard to install them.
The easiest solution was posted by Oracle on another thread:
Quote:If you guys want to read it, just highlight it.
I found wrath's red text very difficult to read, but the highlighting worked well.
You want to change the forum colors? But you wont be able to see my ultra cool-avatar!

Oh c'mon, I saw you flaunting that genso pic at "reallycoolavatars.com"...
in fact toonski, how do you create such an avatar?
I know it has to do with playing with transparency
but what program are you using?
Er, he just has two colours on his avatar, so it blends in with the backround if you look at it externally:

You can see how it works.

He posted a while ago how he did it, so you "search" the boards you can come up with something.

And on program id' guess photoshop.
