I've stashed away a little 'she' money, (money 'she' don't know about  ), and want to build a new computer just for myself. (gee...that sounds so selfish now that I type it out...).

Anyway, I was thinking of using the cool looking "Ice Cube" micro-pc barebones kit for $240.

Here's a review and some pictures:

Anyone have experience using this barebones kit?

i like "open architecture" more Big Grin. i'm just so sick of tons of cables stuffed into a small case.

If you like the design, or the use of that thing, you can take it Wink. But there are still some things I know from experience with small cases:
1) All that stuff together in a small area causes the case to get VERY hot from the inside. Use as powerful and as much coolers as you can.
2) Expanding computers in small cases is very hard, at least harder than with a normal or big tower.
Kool Dav!!!! ;*)

I thought you had a Laptop already?
