I would like to know how to make a mailing list for my website. I know that it doesn't use HTML. (Or at least I think). So I'd like information on how to make one, and which language I should use.

well, to read the e-mail addresses from the users i'd suggest
using cgi-scripts. but you can also use pure html. you can send the
mails by hand. just copy all e-mail addresses of your list in the "To" box of your mail and the mail you like to send will be sent to everyone in the list.

Yeah, but I mean, how do you have the little thing where you type your E-Mail adddress in the text box, and somehow that get's added to my mailing list so I can have a list of E-Mail addresses.

You need to actually download a script that you can use, it should have instructions. Alternatively you can use a remotely hosted script such as http://server.com. Or try one of the one's listed http://cgi.resourceindex.com/Remotely_Ho...ing_Lists/

...yep, that's exactly what i meant by saying "use cgi" ^^
loads of script pages on the net. but, if yu like to learn cgi, just for
some simple scripts, go for it....it ain't more comlicated than qb is!
