I don't have an ATI, I have a Sparkle GF4MX440SE 128 MB DDR. Don't know if it has some compatibility issues with YGMAE...

Lachie: AVL's documentation.. is in my mind, and only in my mind (since I wrote AVL and haven't written the documents yet).. So I'd have to check BC5's documents.. which I don't have, all I have a skeleton copy with the compiler and the librarys :/ (jump thought) Does your computer have a coprossessor?
Neo: YGmae uses AVL (which uses UGL) and UGL, which could be the problem (UGL) -- I checked the UGL mode compatability list (http://dotnet.zext.net/index.php?showpage=modes.db) and your card wasn't on it... The 8bit bug sounds like the backbuffer isn't being cleared before each frame, which shouldn't happen........... I'm really confused right now.. I'll get back to you once I sort my thoughts out.. (sorry)
rel: Yeah, AVL is written in C
to everyone: I'm confused.. very confused.. that's all I have to say

That's the bad thing about UGL. Not your fault, lith.
Well, at least I can play in 8 bits.

(sorry)It's no problem. I experienced problems with UGL before, like crashes, reboots, anything. Anyway, I really hope you can fix this problem, and finish the game!

Lith, why dont you take a look at allegro? Its a nice C lib which can do the same thing...antialiasing and stuff and has much better compatibility that UGL.
I dunno what is AVL so please enlighten me as to what it is =P

I think it's their vectorial library.
