Syn, you're a crazy mofo. You disappear, I think you're dead, and then you come back with something simple and incredibly fun like this. This is an awesome demo, buddy. Glad to see to see your triumphant return to 2d Smile

Some kind of combo or "super-move" system would be kickass though.
thanks, yea, i got uber pissed at the 3d shit because it took too long to render and too much memmory to store... i havent given up on it, but i needed to work on something different for a while, im not terribly big on the 3d rpg idea anymore because of how much memmory it takes, but ive still got zg2 on the back burner >D

we're planning a combo style system like in devil may cry, as well as special moves that charge up and you can use on the fly
2D never dies...it just occasionally gets overshadowed by the vast majority of ignorant 3D zealots Wink

Way to go syn9, this is looking nice Smile
I started screen.exe and got this message:

Hit any key to return to system

I'm using Win XP....shall I try another OS???
maybe, you need to enable EMS for it to run
just did it (before you've posted that reply) and now it works

very good work, Syn. You did it...

23 FPS (1,4 GHZ, 512MB SDRAM,...)
thanks, i just realized i had a dqbwait 2 in the main function, making it stay ~20 fps... i took it out and everyone was running around the screen in turbo mode at 60fps, hehehe
Looks cool. Glad you're back too.

Demo runs pretty well and smooth for me under Win98. 23 fps even.
