After defeating the evil barrier called "compiling" I finally got the Basics going of my.... "Original" text-game which I call M.A.G.E. It's design in essence quite unique, instead of using a Vertical style adventure, with limited commands, long story, and very interesting until you beat it, I came up with a horizontal Style Game, which is very short, extremely long list of commands, and has many ways to die but a few ways to win. In a way, it is a Puzzle\adventure\Motive to kill Game.
However, what makes this enjoyable\annoying\addictive is that I am using a lot of keywords.
How many?
My goal is 500.
Now, it is a joke game, meant to "A complete waste of time." And to prove this point, the plot is simply put this: You must defeat the Evil Magic Rock.
There is so far only one scene.
"You find a rock. What do you do?"
?
Now this is when it starts getting fun\annoying\stupid, you type in any word, and you will get a reaction. Lets say you typed kill.
"You find a rock. What do you do?"
? kill
You kill yourself. Now that wasn't smart, was it?
YOU ARE DEAD!
"Do you want to try again? y/n"
Already I have tested this on my friends, whose inputs help me with the difficult task of making so many different keywords and reactions.
I even have put in Secrets in the game, some which are hard to find, some are easy. Of course, you wouldn't cheat and hack into the program and read the lines and lines of program Wasteland required to make this, right?
Oh, and this is my first program, so meh.
