Toonski, I think, solved my last Encryption challenge. Here's my next one:
-Write an algo to solve the text given. Ensure it works. Note that the text, when deciphered, will form an English sentence.
-Points are given on readability of the algorythm.
The link to the encrypted file is:
http://www.thegeekery.org/cipher.txt (right click, save as).
HINT: View it in MSDOS Edit, if possible: the characters are unviewable in Windows editors.

Note: Be sure to PM your answer to me. I.e. DO NOT POST IT HERE
The algo can be in QB, VB, C/C++, or Pascal.
...I did what now? And shouldnt this be in "Challenges"?
I can't find the post now, but you solved an encryption challenge by me a little while ago. I think.
I didn't put this in Challenges because it's not a specific QB challenge.
I don't know whether to move this or not... anyway, it was na_th_an who solved your challenge, not toonski Wink
Aye. Very sorry, toonsk.
Nath: C'mon, have a go
[edit] Oh, yeah, the contest expires at 12:00 noon December 20th, 2003. GMT-5:00[/edit]
I'll try it Tongue Hrmmm.
Good luck. I forgot to mention that additional points are given for writing a functional program to decrypt it, i.e. not just pseudocode or the plain equation.
I have it. Although it's a very simple program. I found out the encryption method withing 1 minute, to be exactly (seriously!) Wink. I PMed you anywayz.
