Meh hehe..I got my version from Kazaa. VB 6.0. 71 MB. Well worth it. 8)
Or you can be all nice an legal, and dish out $2000 for Visual Studio.
:barf:

You could also try to score the student discount.

But I think most people will prefer the five-finger discount. Wink

I bought it legit for about US$50... Learning Edition.
Unfortunately, the Learning Edition also doubles as the "Can't-Do-Much-Of-Anything-With-This-Crap" Edition. Sad It's ok for learning on but not much else. Sad You don't get the nice native code compilation option unless you have Professional Edition or higher.

At uni, we have Pro edition on almost every computer. How they pulled that off, I'll never know. Must have been one hell of a grant. Big Grin

Same at my college... all of the laptops they lease out to computer programmer students (like myself) have Visual Studio 6.0 Professional... As well, a big chunk of the desktop computers on campus have the exact same thing. As you say... must have been one hell of a grant heh.

*so full of hate*

VS6 costs what? like US$800? I use Bloodshed for my C/C++... Oh well, that's what I get for still being in high school.
