i want to make a table wiht rounded corners. i got it to work just alown. now i want to have other table datas around it. i have a big image to the left of it in the same table. this distorts the round corner table. here is the site which shows it mest up. http://www.geocities.com/mrynit/downloads/download.html
feel free to look around while you're there. that is if you go there.
uhhh...that just has an smoothed rectangle inside a rectangular table with regular old CORNERS!

put a BORDER="0" element inside your table.

To make the entire table have roudned corners, you'll have to make 4 corner images. There's a lot of ways to go from there, I.E.,
put each corner imade in a different cell,
or
make them backgrounds for the cell they might be in (position using css),
or
put them in a parent table so that all tables would be inside a round one,
etc.
i dont really get what you said. i'm using the corner images. i took out the big image and used blank gifs to postion the table. it look fine now.
Yes, it looks fine now... You're using the corner method I said before. Earlier you left table borders on.

BTW, using a giant imagemap for the contents is not very efficient. You could accomplish the same with a table, it would be quicker loading, easier to add and delete from, and it would change size on its own.

The background really makes things tough to see... perhaps lowering the contrast a bit?
the bg on the blue table? i was thinking on changing it to the oarge and yellow. i use the table method for linking in the rest of the site. i thought the image map was better way of doing it. thanks for the help
the diskette background of the entire site :|
I just looked at your website Diroga. It's a start..

Some suggestions:

It's probably a good idea to darken things up. Maybe keep the text almost-as-bright, but darken down everything else.

Lots of jumping backgrounds. If you keep a part of it a variable color/theme/background based on the section, and the rest one color/theme/background, that should look OK.
the diskes rock! yeah well they can be harad on the eyes. most of the site is darker. what esle can i do for the aesthetic. i am limited to mspaint do to my lack of knowledge on photoshop.
Just one thing, IMHO, that makes a website look a little more professional: Use capital letters at the beginning of your sentences.
Any other ideas
