As the Qmunity's #1 hype-hater, I fully agree with you, Agamemnus. "Come visit our thriving site!" and they have like 20 files remote-linked from other servers, a forum with three users (the site owner and two of his coding buddies, or his family members or close friends who can't code), and site code that breaks at least 5 of the deadly sins of web design. The one I always loved was "come see our thriving new site!!" (note: "new"). If something's brand new, how can it be thriving? I can understand something getting a flood of users, but that's not considered "thriving"...when a site's thriving, it's been up for awhile and has a loyal userbase. To say "thriving new site" is jabberwockey BS and a stupid attempt at sucking people to your mediocre MS-Word designed hackjob of a "website".
Phew, got that off my chest.

I have to say, Ado, I totally agree with you on that. Sites like the kind you mention give the Qmmunity a cheap and nasty style, with jerks thinking that their "kickass" program of a ball bouncing is what Qb is all about. Most of these sites dont even have programs created by the owner, mostly just stolen off other Qb sites or hot linked.
I have to say that the word "Thriving" can only apply to a few sites in the Qmmunity: QBN, QBNZ, etc... Actually I am amazed that QBN has nearly 1000 members now. Thats a lot...

Heey, I can use the word "thriving"!
(ps: don't forget many of those 1000 members have posted less than 5 times, many don't post any more, and some like Jofers must be doubles )

Hehe oracle...you've got one of the best online file archives and QBNZ's been around for a bit now, plus it's got a relatively active forum, so it's safe to say that QBNZ is "thriving".

Possibly to have a profile, to keep track of posts not read, etc
