Yes, yes...it seems the MySQL server is down, because the userfile features doesn't work (the forum is flatfile-based, i.e. no MySQL).
I've screamed at the support team. They should be rushing to help me.

No..that's what upsets me. I added that with phpMyAdmin. Worked fine. But adding it by way of the webpage...It doesn't work.

Are you getting any errors? Check your webserver log files.
And do stuff that would make errors, just to see what happens.
No, no errors. Not sure how to get at the logs.
And it can't be my code...I didn't change it at all. I woke up this morning and the thing just died.
