To Neo:
HELLO AND GUESS WHO THIS IS? !!!
I have recently even *hardly* been around the main forums of QBasicNews.com at all, but, the point-blank reason why your project entitled NeoLib 1.6 has OFFICIALLY won the Grand Prize from my 2nd QuickBASIC Caliber Programming Compo was because, even though only a few of the routines (like some playing and stopping routines for the CD-Rom, and your FFix-based routine) did not work properly on the test computer known as the Pionex 450mhz âPentium IIIâ-based one, I FOUND *PLENTY* OF BIG-TIME PLUSES, WHICH WERE:
Additionally, Neo, there were two more things that I *especially* loved also:
So overall, YOU HAVE **TRULY** IMPRESSED ME AND THEN PLENTY, MY MAN NEO!!! :king: !!
And all that is why I have _on-purpose_ presented to you that Grand Prize plaque that was created by yours truly, and I thank and praise the Lord God Almighty that only He has enabled and empowered me to create it indeed!!! !!
NOW THAT, people of the QB45/QB71 community, goes to fiery show you how true and revolutionary and inspiring my compos really and truly are getting to be and more! ! I will see you all next time, AND I will *definitely* see you when the AAP Official Homepage finally resurrects, too!! !!
BEING *ABSOLUTELY* 100% TRUE TO MY WORD AND THEN PLENTY,

- 1 ⢠The EMS, Sprite, Font, Drawing, Mouse, and Joystick routines all *successfully* work 100% (AND OHH, WHAT JOY IT IS! ;*) !! );
2 ⢠The opening, closing, locking, and unlocking portions DO work A-OK;
3 ⢠Your documentation for NeoLib 1.6 really is _TRULY_ RATHER INFORMATIVE AND IS FRESH AND EASY-TO-UNDERSTAND READING FOR *EVEN* THE QUICKBASIC BEGINNER, from the command descriptions all the way up to your design on how an 8x8 character font is created ( ^_^ !! ), and;
4 ⢠I have *thoroughly* checked your lib from the tip-top to the very deepest bottom, and found out that it totally no less than fits in line with ALL of my Official Rules that I have given to you (now if only people entering would follow that splendid and exact selfsame example as yours and *learn* to respect the rules â even on my future QB compos, as well â rather instead of even beginning to debate, argue, and/or slander about them at all, âcause then, itâll be much better off in such soaring colors, actually! ! )!! GREAT JOB!!! !!
Additionally, Neo, there were two more things that I *especially* loved also:
- 1 ⢠You have credit given to me to where it is due for your use of my AAP/GPL â AAP Game Pad Library (Currently best available under the âLibrariesâ section at QBNZ, and *will* soon appear also upon the resurrection of the AAP Official Homepage, too!)!! ;*) !
2 ⢠Since I *do* understand that there is some bugginess in this version that need to be ironed out for your newest NeoLib version, it is quite pardonable, man. !
So overall, YOU HAVE **TRULY** IMPRESSED ME AND THEN PLENTY, MY MAN NEO!!! :king: !!

I'd rant about like 3,000 things in this post, but I'm just become too tired as a person to really want to do anything anymore. So screw it, have fun programming man, it should be fun. And if it isn't, you're doing something wrong.

Adigun, You make the BEST plaques!!!
What do you make them with?
What do you make them with?

To Dark_prevail:
Well, my program of choice on that, believe it or not, was Jasc Paint Shop Pro 7, 10th Anniversary Edition. And some of the effects that were used for the plaques were Lacquer, Drop Shadow, and some of the Eye Candy 3.1 filters to name a few. Believe me, my man, I just wanted on definite purpose to be a clear-cut blessing to you and the QB45/QB71 community, and this is one of them, no doubt! There is absolutely no bull about that at all, and so I thank you for that MOST SPLENDID compliment, man!! !
Thank you so much for your patronage. ^_^

what were the other entries for that category?

No offense to Neo, coz Neolib is certainly a nice work of art, but it's terribly easy to win a compo if you're the only entrant.
