At first, I've been spreading religious messages, but then I stumbled upon a computer and sat behind it and stayed there for the rest of my life.

Well... not quite. I still have other stuff to do, but...

...Ok - let's not overdo it. The point is: I have found QBasic on my school's computers, and started printing out stuff advertising for QBasic. I have now got more than 10 people to learn QBasic. How about spreading the word in your area?

YES, yes, propaganda rules. The P in Pc72 can stand for Propaganda, as well as for Programming... Thank Brahma for propaganda!

What do you people say?
I say, you don't need a poll in everyone of your topics.

second, this may need to go in the general section, instead of QB in general.
Propaganda is the tool of tools hoping to rule tools. If you think, and have access/"propaganda" has no value.

Don't use "propaganda"...it's a loser's game. If you teach someone QB...be straight...tell them why you like it, where it can be used, and what the alternatives are...

To represent something as better than it really makes you look like a fool to anyone observant enough to recognize reality. And those who rely on the public's inability to recognize reality are rarely rewarded.
I'm with Mango on this one...
Well, since what you said you did technically isn't propaganda (there has to be another party to defame/throw mud at/generate hate against) it's just advertising.

Now, as long as your adverts are relevant to the product then go hard. But, if you use propaganda like, "Learn QB because God hates C!" then I'll have to kick you in the nuts (for both the religious content and the implication that C is something (not sure what)).
Hey, let us all show some respect to what he is doing. Pc72 I already am always spreading the word of QB! As I am a respected programmer in my college many people especially from the non-Computer Engineering department come to me for help with their 'computer' related projects. For example I helped this guy from the Electronics branch make an interface for his 'robot' through a parallel port. Initially I helped him make in C. But then I taught him a few things in QB and he really picked it up and went ahead and made a similar interface in QB. He even extended it on his own!

Wow, your college must suck. Well, I guess being a college and not a University...
For me both are the same because there isnt a distinction between the two where I live. They are synonymous. Think outside the USA(or wherever you live) as well
Well, here our education system goes like this:

Canada:
Elementary
Collegiate (College)
University/Tech School

Which is similar to the US:
Elementary
Junior High
Highschool
College/Tech School
University

In the US, College, Tech School and University and the same 'level' but University is rated higher (which is why I listed it separately).

hey, 1000101, 105, 69, 45, or whatever your name is....

I disagree with the whole gist of your post. In the US, college educated people (ie people with BS, or BA degrees) when enquiring about education, will say, "Where'd you go to school?", or "Where'd you go to college?". They have the same meaning. When someone asks "Where did you go to University", you assume they are not a native (American) English speaker. In fact, in the US University system, everyone went to college. For example, if I attended Harvard University, my degree might be in Chemistry, from the College of Arts and Science, Department of Chemistry. When someone asks, "Where did you go to College", rather than taking insult at the question, I would proudly declare, "I went to college at Harvard."

You get the big rasberry for your post.
