No one here ever have another debate about religion on this forum agian in their lives.... ever.
Seriously, it's been going on quite a lot lately, and seems to be tearing things apart...

Personally I think that all kind of debates should be allowed in the General Forum as long as they don't get way out of hand...but that's just me and I'm not a moderator/admin here :wink:

Trouble is, time and time again religious debates start and *do* get out of hand. It'd be the ideal world if we could allow whatever in the general forum, but we've gotta cater for everyone. If people wanna debate religion, they can find a religious forum to do it on.

Yes, but it's the 'as long as they don't get out of hand part' that's not going well... I've been watching many debates and people have been going over the fine line between 'debate' and 'bashing'...

Oracle & Rockuman: You're prolly right about that...TBN has (had?) a special forum that was un-moderated (I think) where people could say whatever they wanted (could be good if a topic gets to over-heated: the moderators then could move the topic to the "special-forum" and the "war" could continue there)....
But yeah, you guys are prolly right anyways, this is a Qbasic Forum and if "we" wan't to debate about other stuff we can find another place to do that...good point
I still dont see what the big deal is. Everyone is behaving. If you cant handle the debate then dont post. No one's putting a gun to your head...sheesh :roll:
