I don't know if it matters or anything like that.... but the memberlist is HUGE. And to top it all off, FULL of inactive members. Maybe a S.W.A.T. team could go in and clear out the inactive members? Or are we proud to say that there's 1000 + "REGISTERED" qb-ers? Just a thought. ... ... yeah.
Curious.... what does it matter that there are tons of inactive members? Seriously, the DB size is not an issue. So... really, what's wrong with it?
I did some research and found that we have 855 posters which have posted atleast 1 post.

There are tons of posters who havent posted in months so if the admins want they can clear the list otherwise keep it as it is. IMO it really doesnt matter :-?
I just thought that was interesting, that's all. Not a big deal, I realized, after posting....
how much space does an user account take up

Not as much as Spam and flame. :*)
A few hundred bytes only. Which is less than, as relsoft says, one spam post Wink

Anyway, I don't have time to go through deleting all the accounts that aren't being used, and I doubt that the other admin do either Smile
And why would you delete it? Let's say I go to timbuktu where there are no internet cafes? It would suck it by the time I get bacl, my account was deleted.

And yes, it adds to the bragging rights of Qbasicnews. :*)
Well... I would Like if there was an option to filter/sort by the time of last post.

It would be fun to see how many members here actually is, I mean posting, active ones
hmm... how about someone finds a way to *hide* the nonactive members.

then rel would disappear from the member list for awhile then when he came back, he's there.
