Well, here's a new idea:

Have a Sticky Topic in the Projects forum entitled "Current Projects" (or something)

Everyone who wants can then have 1 post in that topic where they can display info and a screenshot of their current projects. When the projects change, are canned or are completed, the coder can then just edit their own post. It woul give an interesting topic for people to browse through, without having to visit everyones websites to see what projects are currently being worked on.

What do you guys think?
Akooma made a whole website around that idea.

But what do the rest of you think?
SIA is a project-based site as well: http://www.sia-tech.com/

Personally, I'd rather have people come to my own site to see the progress on my projects...after all, that's what a website is for.
It would be more fun to have people come to your own site..

And if they must have it here there's the projects section..

But if it's added I would post in it.

Novix.tk has ~30 visitors a day, but only 8 registered members at the forum, of which 6 are me and my friends. And the thread here has had ~200 views, but only a few replies. It would be more fun to post about a project if you get feedback. Don't you agree?

The problem is not people seeing your project, it's getting people to actually comment on it.

Not everyone has their own site.
Most people working on projects do...

touche.

although, if you have a central point that links to more than one projects, it makes it easier to find sites for projects (especially hard to remember urls)
Yup... Like I said, I'm for it, it can't really hurt.

If people are really interessted in my project they will go to my site anyways, and if they just want to have a quick look, then a thing like this is perfect.
exactly - and also this is perfect for people who have mini projects. For example Im working on a tank game at the moment, but no way would I make a part of my website dedicated to it. It is perfect for small things. And links to project pages on websites for larger projects.
