Not Whitetiger!!!
ok. i need somebody with a full(not downloaded) version of VB5. i just need them to create a form with a few components and add some code. if anybody is interested in helping me out here, just post and i'll PM you the instructions. (very detailed since SOME of us don't follow explicit directions that well) .
I don't have VB5, but I have VB4 Pro, as well as VB3 Standard and VB-DOS, so if you DO need any of those, e-mail instructions to wizgen@zwallet.com and I'll do it for you.
sorry, but how about vb 6? i'm sure you could make do with that...
What's the difference between a bought full version of VB5 and a downloaded full version of VB5? Karma or something?
I found some links to download VB6 Full version... It's 29 Megs, but if you have to have VB6, you have to have it. Google "I need VB6 Free" or something like that and you'll find it. You also need some way of registering it (using a registration code, which doesn't come when you download it). VB 4 might not be perfect, but that's not a problem in VB 4. No registration. Even VB 5 might be easier to find. But personally, VB 4 is good enough for me. There's only one - ONLY one - problem: it can't open a lot of programs for VB 5 that I download, and not too many people make VB 4 programs anymore.
Still, it's better than VB3... LOL.

VB4 is not better than VB3.

In fact, VB4 is the worst VB version.

VB6 39 megs? Bad idea. The full install takes 300 Mb, so that version has to be so ripped that is unusable.
... :x People, i have VB6, i need somebody with VB5 because thats all my school has. I need someone to make an MCI, and put it to the form. thats all i need! the downloaded one has some problems with MCI's and Dialouge boxes so thats why i need someone with the full version. Ok?
Man

You are asking for help. Better be more polite...

Ok?
I have a legit copy (two actually) of VB5 Learning, and a stolen copy of VB6Enterprise. But I don't know what this MCI thing is of which you speak...

Unless you mean an MDI form.
alright. my mistake in getting irritated. its just sometimes people like to just talk about things related to the topic rather than actually helping me out. its like i'm asking for a boot, and everyone is telling me about their loafers and highheels. now, wizardlife. can you create a form with a "Microsoft Multimedia Control" and a "Microsoft Dialogue Control" with your Visual Basic 5 Learning addition, and e-mail it to me at gebmasta@hotmail.com
it would be much apretiated. thank you.
