TBN is moving to our quad Xeon server in Texas over the course of the next couple of days. There should only be a small window of inaccessability in a couple of days. Just thought people might like to know.

Ya, that'll be fixed when the new frontend is put up. It's a problem with the PHP version we're now using, so nothing can really be done about it without seperating some phpbb scripts and in general, making a lot of customizations. The way it was ran perfectly with PHP 4.3.2, but we're using 4.3.5 now and there was a change which affects session variables and header buffering.

Dont worry Bluffer, there will be no downtime. As we speak, we are uploading the forum to the other server. The forum will stay open on the old server, and be closed on the new one. As the dns propagates, people will start seeing the forum on the new server, which will be closed. However, after 3 days, the forum on the old server will be closed in order to do the final backup to restore to the database on the new server, and then we open the forum on the new server and presto!
