its not about head-starts or when you coded it. my tree-structure is stable and well-written. it should count.
... but nobody else has started one. It would be unfair to let you use your sephforum as a base because you'd win. Your forum has heaps of features that we couldn't implement in a reasonable timeframe, see?
There's nothing stopping you from looking at your code to help you create your entry (and who knows? You might try something different and decide you like it) - but starting with a whole forum when the challenge is to create a whole forum is not very fair on anyone else.
i did mine in a week. and besides, i wasn ttalkin abor the features. iwas talkin about the simple forum structure in the MySQL DB, and the way its shown in HTML etc. not the features. that stuff i did in 2 days tops.
Well the db structure etc. is all the stuff that would be judged, and you'd have a head start. It doesn't matter anyway, 'cos no one else seems interested
I'd participate, if not for three factors:
1. My online time is going to be about zero starting tomorrow.
2. I got too many other projects to worry about.
3. Tree forums SUCK.
