been down a lot more then more then it is acceptable from the start? Those assholes imhosted.com refused to switch me to a stable server just giving me unrelevant answers each time. Then i told them to cancel my membership and refund my money for the service they garantueed but never delivered. So they canceled my account and i haven't heard anything from them since.
time to move.
I paid for a damn year and i want it back, i'm not interested in another host.
Never ever ever ever ever pay for a year.

Hey Zack, is that the host that offers 15GB transfer but only gives 10GB transfer?

No. That was the shaggy long4net...now, the straight-laced Surpasshosting: 30GB transfer, 2000 MB. Oh and mysql, php, perl, the works. Unlimited subdomains...

Are they really good? I need to find a host now... Everyone's offering lower rates than everyone else and it's sort of hard to know if they're any good. Certainly the rates at Surpass are impressive.

And I was hoping you might be able to provide me a forward-link from wizardcode.bad-logic.com, Blitz.
Those bastards, they want to pay back 20$ out of 143$ for 6 months usage. Six months that was down most of the time, i don't think i have ever been this annoyed before. I'll try to get them to restore the site until the 12 months run out, then i'll switch host. Is surpasshosting any good? I don't trust host without real phone numbers.
I don't trust surpasshosting at all. Their prices are way too cheap (meaning they're probably overselling), they have virtually zero contact information, and they do not offer network details on the site. They're likely either a reseller for a bunch of companies, or they own a bunch of dedicated servers and are overselling the living hell out of them. I noticed that they have a script which links into the cPanel's stats script, but most everyone has that and that really doesn't offer too much in terms of network specifications. It'd be nice to know if you're going to be put on a Celeron 900 along with 3000 other clients like many MANY hosting companies out there do! With surpasshosting, you have no idea wha you're buying...their lure is their price. A smart hosting shopper avoids such shady deals and goes with a compay with a good reputation, easily obtainable information, a telephone number in plain view, and verifiable testimonials. A great host that fits all these things is hostgator.com. We've gone through them before, and we still have one server with them at the moment. You know what you're buying, and tech support (should you need it) is always within reach immediately. I'd recommend them in a heartbeat.
