Yeah, so, I know that people have been talking about the "rumor" of the whole G-Mail where you get a gigabyte of storage and whatnot, but it is a reality... My friend has contacts and such, and I might end up getting a "G-Mail" account here sometime. Umm, other than that, this thread is pointless. Yeah. Well, what do you think?
With all the spam I get in my current e-mail box think of the posabilities 8) . 1 g of pure spam I could keep
some e-mail boxes don't have near enuf room.
I've got gmail! It's my first name, then a dot, then my last name at gmail.com (I don't want any spam web-bots getting it).
It's true, you get 1 gig! I don't know what the limit is on individual message/attachment size is though.
But the best part is that the gmail site uses javascript extensively so that you don't have to wait for the page to reload (unless you click on one of the emails). View inbox, click preferences, BAM it's there - no waiting. It's so cool.
I don't have any invites yet, I just got it.
gmail rocks! I seen Yahoo and Hotmail is the news planning to up their storage space, but what I really hope catches on is gmail.com's fast javascript-based interface.
I have gmail, but I sent all my invites out. As soon as I get more (they come in sets of 3) I'll help out.
I'd like an invite as well please. My hotmail account is about to burst...
