whats up? it's been 2 years since i worked on my rpg. man, i dug it up and was absorbed in it. i remember everything too. i said to myself, i'd work on this thing but i'm affraid of QB and windows XP. i really hate the hassle QB gives you with XP, not to mention the compiler issues that never cease. but maybe i will get back into it. i have a girlfriend now who is open minded, i love her. she saw a picture of my game, and after telling her about it some, she said the whole project sounded very fun.

wow, can you believe i'm 20? some of you will remember me, but mostly not lol. oh well, it's kinda neat to be back here. i started programming in 1997 with qbasic, i was 13.

well hi to everyone. i ought to take a look around for new RPGs. my own was an adventure RPG, quite unique. it focused more on the details of life in my fantasy world than most. a romantic's game i guess, something like the way the old King's Quest series made me feel.

i think i've gone on enough for now. i don't know what my next step will be, i'm a writer but there is this nagging for finishing my game.
cool. welcome back toad. Big Grin need any help with your rpg? i think it's funner working on an rpg with someone.
thanks barok. nah i don't really need help right now, but i'll keep you in mind. appreciate your offer. you got any projects going yourself?
It seems we are both "dinosaurs" of qb. Now I'm making a living as a C++ programer, but I really love to come back to days when, for exapmle, the first release of Angelo's dqb took place which was the turningpoint in my qb progaming - first announed on the old, but well remembered (I hope Smile), Future Software site and its forum - good old days. All the Best!
yeah DQB was quite impressive. i never took full advantage of it, but it does bring back memories.
yeah, actually i'm making an rpg of my own. it's just a walkaround demo right now with scripted npc's though.

Hey that includes me too =). I remember the old qb45.com forum very well. Infact i think i have a page saved somewhere =D. I will be 20 in a few days. Well Future library was my turning point in QB. Not to mention the forum and utilities @ qbasic.com =).

Now I am doing C/C++, Oracle 9i and VB.NET(Learning Oracle and VB.NET) and Linux is my main platform. I hope to see other unix like environments in the coming months =).
