Like HQ said, you can still use QB in windows...

If you want to do windows programming, learn C.. sad but true.
You don't like VB, but it's your best match if you want to code in BASIC for Windows.

VB is very powerful. Why you don't like it?
Have you tried VB.NET? It's similar to VB but its prolly going to be the future.

the other is a radio fm broadcast... in others words full audio wav and mp3 player for my fm station here in lima peru..

can i do this projects form qbasic?... or i have to use visual..

is cisual is the answer... please where can i find a very simple manual
in SPANISH...

thanks alot
You need to use VB, Na_th_an prolly knows where to find a Spanish manual.... Wouldn't you rather have a book?
I can understand why he doesn't like VB, neither do I. VB.NET looks like it was java-itized. It has it's good points, but the syntax and the way it forces you to do certain things are different from what a qbasic programmer is used to.

That said, VB is probably to easiest way to write Windows software quick.
