I can't even get to the part of my computer that will let me program in qbasic. Can you help.
First, try to mov your hand, a little bit to the left, and press caps-lock.

Then repost. With more information about your problem.

You don't go to the car-reparation shop and say: "My car doesent work" (Or, in your case, SHOUT!)
You tell them what you think is wrong, and what you have tried, and exactly what you want.

Good bye, have a nice day.
Opps. Sorry about yelling. I am running an hp computer with windows xp. I wish to relearn basic and help my son and his friends learn at the same time. It has been about eighteen years since I did any programming. I used to just turn the computer on and start writting programs. Now I need to go somewhere in this computer to write and run programs. I went to the command prompt and tried everything that I could to execute a command. Nothing would work. What do I need to do just to do a simple print command. Where do I need to go to write and run basic programs.
Download and install Qbasic on your computer.

HQ, we dont need that kind of aggressive behaviour around the forums. This was posted in the "Newbie help" section. Please do not make fun of or degrade anyone posting in this forum just because they ask a question that you find easy.

SSWADIS: I apologise for that. Please ignore him.
