I visited that site yesterday using Google but its a new compiler. I want the zortech c which is <1mb.

reasons why:

1. My friend and his classmates are not allowed to use a diskette on their lab.
2. I have to print the source so that they can encode it at the lab and compile it.
3. I'm using Quick C right now but fecking compiler won't support ASM command.
4. I've just learned to code in C last night and the best I could do is a starfield.
5. The lab uses zortech C, and adding some asm would net them a higher grade.
6. They suck at coding, that's why I'm helping them pass the requirement with no monetary compensation. :*)

Thanks!!!
I have Zortech C++ 3.1, but it's 10 disks...
Arghh!!!

Do you have any link that might help?

And is Zortech C fast?

I just Dled TurboC. So I guess I'd stick to just standard C and work from there.

Thanks, but 10 disk is too much for me. :*(
I don't know; I've never used it. You could try emailing the author, Walter Bright and asking him nicely for a copy. Smile (He bought the rights back from Symantec.)

TC zip is only about 2.78MB
Trust me. Having to split the archive is not a good idea with todays floppies.

BTW, I have DLed TC from Borland(antique software) but it seems that the "Edit" menu does not work. I had to do some old wordstar block edit to hightlight stuff. :*(
Cant you try "sneaking" in a cd-rom?
No
