thanks for the complement =).
The GIMP is different to other packages, theres enough people using to produce awesome pictures that tell me it just slightly more than a useable program. Personally I don't like photoshop(but millions do, same old story eh?)

Mech: Great image. I don't know why the author used the windows installer but I did download it. I'll check it out. Not that it would be much use to me, as its the artist not the tools that make good stuff ;-)
Gimp is just too unstable, too slow and too ugly. Real alternatives are PS or PSP, 'cause I don't like to lose my work.

TBBQ, the comment was about Gimp, not about you. You don't have to thank me.
Again, it's the artist, not the application.

Mech can do that in MS paint. :*)
Of course it's the artist, but imagine if a painter is gonna add the next colour to the canvas and it breaks down and collapse. No matter how good the artist is... If the canvas is not "stable".

There wasnt any ambiguity in my reply.
Yeah, pretty much anything with a color picker, brush and tablet support could've produced that. Gimp or otherwise. But I would trust people who draw (well) on a regular basis to give their word on Gimp.
