Mainly towards rock/metal lead players....

Cool start to a heavy metal solo, I came up with in a few minutes,
Intended for the intermediate to advanced player.
I have no clue what's going on as far as scales and theory as I just don't care.

You can start the solo using sweep (economy) picking for blazing speed, I however, palm mute the notes on the G string, left off the pm slightly for the B and left totally for the E, it gives the lick a very cool sound.

This should get your fingers moving, good luck and remember have fun!

Tab Legend:

^?? - bend note until it reaches the pitch of the following fret number
~ - strong vibrato
p - pull off
s - slide

E:---------17----------------19-----------------20----------21^23~~~-
B:-----15----15---------17-----17---------19-----19--------------------
G:-14------------14s15-------------15s17-------------17---------------

E:-21p20p19-21p20p19------------------------------------------------------
B:---------------------------22p20p19-22p20p19-20p19p17-20p19p17-

G:-21p19p17-19p17--------------17-19~~-

i assume you ment to write something seph?

anyway, pretty good tab. sounds vaugely familiar though, like one i did a while back. i'll see if i can find it and i'll post it on up. good job either way.
no, just seein if maybe the notes looked a lil more organized in [ code ] but nope, it looks worse. but i bet it sounds kickass...
ya it sounds really cool, i've been having alot of moving problems, trying to find a place to get settled then i'll be back, using cousins pc atm, heh surprised any1 remembered me 8) . hell some1 add sumthing to it, maybe get a qmunity guitar solo going Tongue
MM software, ah yes now i rememebr you. one of my loyal subjects of the SephForum Court Big Grin
heh you got to be crazy i'm a loyal subject to no1 except the great guitar god.

And for any bluesy fans here a nifty lick i came up with...
Feel free to move this lick around the fretboard!

Tab Legend:

^?? - bend note to following note's pitch
s - slide
h - hammer on
r - lower bend back to original note
~ - strong vibrato

B:16^17-16^17-13--------------------------------------------------------------------------
G:15^16-16^17-13-15^16r-----15^16r-------------------------------------------------
D:-----------------------15^16r-13-15^16r-13--------------13---------------------------
A:----------------------------------------------------15~~-s15-----15-14-13s12h13~~-
Yo BS!!! How's the "machining" stuff?
I had to move, so i didn't get to finish the class, so as of now nowhere... how ya been rel? my life sucks right now! Tongue
long long story....

Anyways yet again another guitar piece that pulsated out of my fingers today... it's a extremely fast ascending run, that is quite difficult....

B:----------------------------------------------------------------6h7h9--------6h7h9s11-9-7s6h7-
G:----------------------------------------5h6h7--------5h7h9--------5h7h9------------------------
D:----------------5h6h8--------5h6h8--------5h6h8------------------------------------------------
A:--------6h7h9--------6h7h9------------------------------------------------------------------------
E:5h7h8------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

sounds really cool played right at the end of the solo piece!
notice on the G string the hammer-on pattern changes, which can be a throw off, there is a few positioning shifts that can make it difficult aswell at first, i'm pretty sure some form of a A chord would sound nice being played under this.
