Does anyone want some of the code snippets from my ftp program i wrote sometime last year i think. i might write an article on it for qb express to teach all you lot how to access the modem crudely

as in 56k or 14.4k yes. It was a start for the program. V2 which i never started was gonna have broadband support.

this was over a yr ago that i stopped because no-one wanted it. i couldn't be bothered. But did anyone use it and found out it works
I did try to use it, but your code had hard-coded COM1 as the modem port and my modem was on COM2...
And I don't think there was much in the way of documentation either...
wasnt much use. it transmitted very slowly. But its good if you're learning communication.
