Here's an 8x8 font i've drawn and tried to do some antialiasing
(totally 3 colors: orange, brown & black)
Image standard and 2x magnify, the symbols is for a program I
at least want to make...

Are the characters good? proportions etc?
Also is there any other colour combination than this that is better
for the eye to look at? (against a black background)[/img]

That's better than any 8x8 font I've ever seen in a QB program! The antialiasing really helps a lot.

I would take the opportunity to plug my font editor, but it's useless to you because it can't do color. What did you use for it?

Don't use freewebs... they suck. Use something else.

Well I'm not all that creative so I don't have very much to publish,
(and freewebs looked good at the time -nice interface etc.)
but if you have a better suggestion, then I'm all ears

I would give you an alternative, but all my alternative links are on my laptop, and the adapter for it got fried last week. And i'd say i only have about 3 minutes battery life left on it.

red: the font is looking good. IMO green colored font would look even better. Humans can perceive more shades of green than any other color.
