I noticed graphics programs open first a console then open a graphics window, so I suppose freebasic compile as console by default. Is there some switch to compile directly as a windowed app?

Also I have a weird problem in my home PC. None of the graphics examples work unless they are run from a command line. In the office pc the examples can be simply clicked from the Explorer. What's the problem with my home PC?
that's just sdl for ya it has nothing to do with FB it self if you used directX for example this would not happen or tinyptc or if you put the full screen tag thing you wouldn't even notic it from SDL
Just add option "-s gui" (w/o quotes) to fbc.exe's cmm-line, done.
Thanks, V1ctor!

ShadowWolf: Not an sdl isue, it happens also with ptc and with the directdraw demo.

Anyone knows why my computer don't start console apps opening GUI windows unless they are run from command line? Not a fb issue...
