When complileing I get a .exe file and a .obj file What should I do with the .obj File
When you linked, you got the .EXE. The .OBJ file is an "object file." It's an extremely important file. I suggest you file it--in the "circular file." Smile However, if you're working with a large, multi-module program, or if it's an object file consisting of compiled subroutines and you want to make a library with it, or add it to one, then you may want to not delete it, at least not immediately. (But most people do, or at least ignore a bunch of stuff taking up space on their hard drive.)
*Ahem* Once you have the .EXE, you can delete the .obj.
I also told him that there were situations where he might not want to even though he can. (He can jump off a bridge too. Doesn't mean he should. Smile )

In fact, check your answer in this post, and the reply (2nd and 3rd post) and you'll understand the true meaning of the word redundancy.

Hehe, yeah, I have a habit of that.
I'll try to stop.
BTW that *wasn't* spamming. At least, it wasn't meant to be :o
delete.
Or better yet...email me all your objs! Maybe if I get 5,000 I can send them in to Microsoft and get a free t-shirt.
you wouldnt get a t-shirt, but they might retitle it as a microsoft developer's network library and sell it for $300...
er.... from qb objs???
:-? :-? :-? I really do not know that yet......

Perhaps they would if you make an ASM library of 700 MB. Or better, make an ASM OS.
