I've used other boards that allow a member to deactivate any avatars and signatures from appearing when browsing through the postings.

Is there any way to do that here?

If you use Firefox you can block the sigs using ADBlock.

phpBB doesn't support that by default it seems. I know vBulletin does but it can be done through themes. I'll look into it.

It would be good if you could do it. The avatars and signs are too visible when browsing at the job...
