I'm making a game. So far, the only semi-successful thing I made is tictactoe. I need an idea. Any help?

On second thought it may be a bit too much to chew off for your first game, but try it anyways, I guarantee the effort itself will be worth it! (Also should be a good learning experience  )

Cya,

Nemesis
Whats your favorite sort of games?

Quake?

Strategy?

RPG?

Scroller (Top, Side)?

Simulators (Sim City, The Sims, etc)

Arcade games (Space invaders?)

I'd say make one of thoose, ofcourse you may fail (as most of us, so don't take offense, I can't make a quake style game if my life depended on it)

The thing is, if you like the game you're making, you are more likely to learn new stuff. Like, I'm learning tons of stuff, currently making an RPG.

Heck, if you like accounting software, make one of those.

Anyways, do whatever you want, and if people say: j00 n00b! joo gonna fail!!111

Just tell them to go eat compost Big Grin

The final product doesent really matter, as long as you have fun. If you learn something new, then good for you
