going to new hampshire in four weeks, and then within the next year i will try my darndest to open a coffee shop like you see on Boy Meets World or Friends. there will hopefully also be apartments on top of the shop. anyone here is welcome to come stay for cheaper, since ive known you for long enough. also your welcome to work there for better pay than most too...
Uh huh. Starting a business isn't easy. You have investment capital to purchase and set up the building? You might need some help there, like a guarentor for a loan or a silent partner. It isn't somethign you can just pick up and do, you need money and a safety net while you set up the business. Then you'll need to work 80-hour weeks to manage it until it's up and running. You gotta have a game plan.
Running apartments above adds a whole nother level of complication to things, it's not exactly the guilded age.
You might try contacting SCORE, as they can often help with writing a business plan, obtaining a business loan, etc.
