Ok so the subject sounds a bit more exciting that then contents but I had to smile when I came across this http://img-host.info/imgs/3989_gta.jpeg in GTA 3. In most games I seem to end up wondering around mindlessly even, like in this case, after I finished the main game. Often I find bugs/etc but I really like that, even if I'm behind the times game wise Smile
Hahahaha, nice Big Grin
In Alejandria, Tomb Raider IV (The Last Revelation), there's a beach where you can swim to reach some areas. If you try to go deeper in the sea, you reach to a point where you can't advance anymore 'cause of the "tide". Well, I played this with my (then) flat pal Phobeous, and he was very persistent. He found a place where the level designers forgot to add the "tide", so he could swim and swim until the map finished. Upon that, you could do nasty things such as swim over the city of alejandria... Lara flying over Alejandria... nice Big Grin

I'll dig for a savegame and will take a screenshot Big Grin
Halo and Halo 2 are probably the biggest games available for doing what you mentioned, Wildcard. People take delight in "Tricking" or "Glitching", finding exploits, mainly ways to launch themselves in flight or getting outside of levels. Some people devote days upon days of doing just this, and I have done quite a lot of it myself.
If anyone's played the old game Cosmic Fantasy 2 (an RPG from yesteryear), there's an area where you could walk diagonally inside a building and end up in debug areas of one of the game maps. I found two extra shops and an extra inn amongst the debug area. Big Grin Unfortunately, the shops had nothing to sell, but at least the inn worked. Big Grin In fact, the particular map contained another entire city which was reachable normally but it had no people in it because they weren't loaded. It gave some good insight on how the game was developed. In fact, it was that lil glitch in the game that gave me the idea on how to develop the maps for WOS. Big Grin

I also heard of a trick in the original Twisted Metal where on the last level of the game, you could drive around on the street below all the buildings. Never tried it though. Smile
In that game, "Driver You Are The Wheelman" you sometimes get blown completely off the map... I mean like 15 miles up into the sky. Then you land in the ocean and you're stuck on the wrong side of the polygons.
that sounds just like Streets of Sim City (stop laughing... it's fun) - if you drive certain places, you'll flip over; then you can hit the popper and fly either way high or underground, probably crashing the game Sad

There are so many bugs in that game, it's not funny. It crashes about once every 15 minutes.

Indeed... I beat all the various scenarios except for the "Race for your life" one. When I got it, it came packaged with SimCopter, SimIsle, SimSafari, SimTower, and SimCity Classic.

Ahh, memories....
