Dearest all of the QB45/QB71/FB community,

A *grandly* good evening/morning to all of you! ^_^ !

Remember over the recent years when I have first promised and promised you on my websites the cinema sequences in the currently ongoing project Frantic Journey (FJ) as you have read its official pages time and time again? Well brace yourselves, fine people, because this all-new animated shot of what I have just programmed here in QB for the game itself is gonna be the beginning of something REALLY big on that!!! Big Grin

Amazing for my very first time in doing this in QB, huh? (Praise God that only He has first empowered me to do all of that so far! Wink=b ! ) Also, telling from this, I smell newest and even uncharted original animé-based designs on my mind to help prepare me for more of the cinemas for FJ itself. And you just mark my words right now, I will be ready. Cool

My, talk about living up to my promises and thus keeping my word, hmmm? :king:

I hope you do enjoy it because like I said, it is just the beginning of something big most indeed where cinemas (or what some of you would call “cutscenes”) are concerned. Big Grin Bye for now, and thank you!

Right up front, I am not even worried in the least, my man. Hey, I still got a long way to go, but so what? Big Grin I am continuing to design the game Frantic Journey in *such* a way as for us to see and witness for ourselves the absolute crowning glory of what QuickBASIC gaming is really all about, and also to say a possible goodbye to QB in such grand and unforgettable form and style, you know? This does not mean, however, that we cannot use QB anymore just because FB is overshadowing QB more and more. I mean, heck, there are at least some of us who still use QB today and liking it just as ever, too! Wink

If all goes well in 2005 during continuing developments here, I might go and release at least an Experience Version of FJ which’ll give players hopefully the first four (4) levels (just think of it as the ultimate sampler to warm you up for the real thing). But, I do not want to rush this. I am gonna rather continue to take my time to add some more secrets and A WHOLE LOT more new excitement to the game.

At least we are making more and more progress! :king:=b !

So as a whole here, I am VERY seriously planning on making FJ as the definitive all-time salute to QB gaming to rank well among such greats as Mono Space, Ghini Run, and Wetspot II to name three of them. Understand? Big Grin !

As for the animé based cinemas in FJ, I plan on making them in a letterboxed (or widescreen-based) format within the Mode-13h graphics arena in QB and even make them like an *original* animé motion picture that is fresh out of Japan, you know what I am saying?
