i need some. any one?
Linux has cdrecord....check if a port exists. I think there is one. Otherwise get Linux.
ALSO - Nero has 1 month trials that I think you can download again and again.
i think nero has a trial thingy (if not a trial then it's free but without everything)

after that you can alway put a serial num in.

EDIT:
2000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yay >^-^<

cdrecord & mkisofs for windows! It's bare-bones but it should work with data cds (I'm not sure about music - windows media player does that anyways).
winxp comes with something, though its pretty crappy.
http://www.burnatonce.com/
It's free (not a trial, Free as in open source, GPL, etc), and very simple. I use it to burn ISOs, and bootable Linux CDs burned with it have worked fine. But I don't know how well it can handle copy-protected games.

Burnatonce only works with cd images (it can create one from a CD or burn one). So if you want to burn/backup a bunch of files, then WinXP built in burning support will be easier. Otherwise, you'll have to use something like IsoBuster to create a cd image to use with burnatonce.

EDIT: I found some alternatives here: http://www.thefreecountry.com/utilities/...ning.shtml. Some of these look far more powerful than burnatonce.
To Diroga:

Here are a couple of CD burning software works that I would recommend for you to try:

• CDBurnerXP Pro 3
It is a great piece of freeware that has *tons* of great fresh features like backing up your data to a CD-R/CD-RW/DVD-R/DVD-RW, recording info, and an automatic web update with which you can connect to get the most latest newer version of this (in case there is one available). If there are two disadvantages, they are these: 1) it is an over 10mb download; and 2) when you drag-and-drop the folders to the intended area of the CD/DVD you are backing up to, you only get the folder, not the files and other folders that go with that one folder. But other than that, this remains one awesome piece of free software with some of the latest technologies for you to use! Cool !

• DeepBurner
Now I am telling you, this software is DEFINITELY the real cream of the crop right here where this kind is concerned, because it supports a lot of the same features as CDBurnerXP Pro 3, and *every* possible CD/DVD format that is thrown at you is supported in this program too!! Big Grin ! And the one big advantage that I love about this is that when you drag-and-drop the folder into the intended area for your CD to back-up/burn, you get the WHOLE archive of that folder, files and all!! Rather awesome, I shall say!!! d=Wink=b ! There are two flavors of this program, Pro and Free. The Free version, however, is for personal use only and not for educational or business use period. But, thank God that the download of either version of this is only weighing at somewhere between 1¾mb to up to 6mb. You are gonna love this one, believe me!!

I hope this all helps you out, as I am very generous enough that I can give them to you, Diroga. Catch you later! Big Grin
