Quote:To All Our Valued Customers:
DBS will be undergoing a DNS server change on February 2nd at 9PM AST (8PM EST). This is necessary as we have transferred all user accounts to another physical server. The old server, the one that caused all the problems in the beginning of January, is being retired. Once the DNS change has been made, there will be a short transition time as the DNS changes propagate. Once everything has changed over, be sure to log into your cPanel account and make sure everything is in working order (email addresses, databases, etc). If you wish, you may log into the new server right now and make any changes beforehand ( http://70.84.85.66/cpanel ) using your existing username and password, as the accounts are already active on the new server and sites have already been transferred on a directory-by-directory basis.

In addition to these changes, the billing cycle has been halted until April. No one will receive an invoice for services until their regular cycle in April.

Thank you for your continued support of Digital Blackie Services, and we appreciate your patience on this issue.

Regards,
David Perry

Thanks for the info Smile
Yeah thanks >^-^<
DNS change in 20 minutes...provided our ISP holds up long enough for me to transfer all the existing databases. And curses to this guy who's used two databases and three users.  :rotfl:
DNS changes have taken place, all sites are completely transferred to the new server. It may take some time for the DNS changes to go through though, so please be patient. Big Grin
Update: DNS records have been updated here...anyone who's using an ISP which hasn't yet updated its DNS records can use the IP address listed in the message posted above or in the email they received (if applicable). Again, if the DNS changes have not yet gone through for you, give it another day or so and everything will be fine. Also, for those of you with email accounts at DBS, make sure you reclaim any mail on the old server now or it will be lost when the server is retired in a few days.
