FreeBasic is still quite a small fry, and "FreeBasic" doesn't really have any ring to its name that would cause alert on the legal infringement-assume-o-tron. Even if it got popular, it would never be able to compete in the big leagues because it's audience is a very small, focused niche, which can't really attract too much attention.
