Wow, that IDE looks really good, Mystik! I cant wait to try it out!
Thanks, it's my humble view of what an IDE could be. I don't think no one can claim to have the final word on what an IDE should do. Basically I'm making it do what I'd like to see ;-). it's great of the majority approves, but for parts of it, if you don't like it, you should be able to turn it off ;-).

I will be looking for beta (maybe alpha in some parts) testers when I release and you've all volunteered... :rotfl:

Seriously...like I mentionned so far it works great when you do the right thing...after i'm done with the to do list (posted previous in this thread) i'll give it a good run down to at least see if I can catch the stupid bugs atleast lol. But we programmers, as you know, then to be bad testers of our own code, we just intuitively do the right thing...so it's longer to arrive at a weird circumstance since we never do weird things with our own code lol..

I'll be implementing error management in there too to atleast give some feedback enough to be able to quickly locate the problem and fix it as quick as possible. :-).
Yep, thats the problem. Noone apart from programmers themselves can actually use this program, thus resulting in some poor testing! I will definately help you test it. Spose we should remember to "think outside the box" when it comes to playing around with it =)
I can try to break it.. after all, thats what you want =)
Yes Z!re....:-) I do hehehe....unlike some other companies's idea of beta testing or I guess some people too somewhere lol, my idea of beta testing is to indeed find bugs and correct them...lol
Hi all,

Sorry for not updating this project for this long....when I finally got to working on the IDE again, poof to the hospital I went (ummm does qbasic news cover workman comp? LOL) I've been out of the hospital just a few days ago...

Sooooo, this delays the release of the IDE but fear not, it's still active and I'm getting busy with it as you are reading this. I'll be keeping you posted as progress comes along.

Have a good one.
:???: Why was ye in the hospital?
Weird case of cellulitis ... intravenus IV antibiotics (the real strong stuff), blood pressure shot up, you name it...all at the same time....
i'm sorry to point that out. but from the screenies it seems to be coded in vb ( icon ? ). if that is the case i fear it's a little bit hard to port to linux Smile. unless you use .net and get every linux user to install mono heh..

on the ide itself: it looks really promising well done.
Isn't FBXL a freebasic version of VB? then, would FBXL be able port VB programs with ease?
