Actually the Vogon ships are not all that far off from how I pictured them, except for thier being yellow. Yeah, Zaphod does have two heads (only visable for a split second in the trailer). At very first the actor playing Zaphod didn't click with me, but after a second thought I can see where he coming from. I think the actor for Arthur was spot on though. And the Vogon's exactly as I always pictured them. Not sure I like the guide though, it looks like it was made in Flash. I always thought of it as having an old monocrome green text screen, like in the old days.
Oh well....
I always pictured the Vogon ships to be like bits of dried, lumpy custard floating in space.
I pictured Marvin to look like a proper humanoid robot that was metallic and shiny...not like something Sony made to chase a ball around.
I pictured the Heart Of Gold to be a lot sleeker and a lot smaller on the inside. It looked like they fell into a conference hall.
I pictured the Hitchhiker's Guide to be more pocketsize, but I have no qualms about the interface...green monochrome text? No chance...it was advanced technology man.

Looks great to me. I'm gonna see it... It may not be exactly like the books, but personally I'm kinda intrigued by the changes. Things don't always have to stay 100% true to their source; could get boring then :wink:
